Who We Are
KroNland was founded by Sandra,
who left Croatia in 2019 and returned in 2024.
Shortly after the earthquake in Petrinja,
she established the association with a clear intention:
to contribute to the recovery and long-term development of the region.
Her personal experience of migration and return
shapes the project’s approach today —
connecting sustainability, community and belonging.
This perspective is embedded in all aspects of the work,
from international collaboration to local development.
Our Mission
Our mission is to explore and develop sustainable ways of living.
Through travel, collaboration and practice, we learn from communities across Europe and bring that knowledge back home.
Our work is inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals.
Through our projects, we actively contribute to 12 of the 17 goals,
connecting sustainability, community and real-life practice.
Our Social Dimension

Alongside eco building and artistic collaboration,
we explore themes of migration, identity
