Project 1001 Views

From one lost shirt to a journey across Europe

The Beginning

It all started on the island of Krk.

A lost white shirt turned into a promise:
1001 views.

Together with Benji, we began a journey
across Europe — to discover places, people
and ideas shaping a greener future.

How We Explore Europe

1001 Views is a journey through 12 eco communities across Europe.

Each place represents one of the sustainability goals
we actively develop through our work.

We document, learn and connect.

And we bring that knowledge back home.

12 Goals – One Journey

The project is inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals.

Transflorium actively contributes to 12 out of the 17 SDGs,
which is symbolically reflected in our journey:

– 12 eco communities across Europe
– 12 sustainable practices
– 12 peaks climbed through the Challenge Up project

Each step represents one goal we explore, learn from
and bring into practice in Croatia.

What We Actually Do

We visit eco farms, permaculture communities
and sustainable living projects.

We photograph, document and share their stories.

We collaborate with local partners
and learn from real practices.

Each experience becomes a building block for our future community space in Sisak.

Social Inclusion

1001 Views is not only a journey across Europe.

It is also a space for exploring stories of migration,
return and belonging.

Through encounters, research and storytelling formats
such as exhibitions, conversations and living library,
the project creates space for dialogue and social inclusion.

This layer connects sustainable building, art
and community development into one shared process.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build a living laboratory.

A place where knowledge from across Europe
becomes real, visible and shared.

A green village rooted in nature,
community and creativity.

The project is shaped by a personal experience of migration and return.

Each step brings us closer to building a sustainable future
